Aluminium anodes are cast in alloys of aluminium, zinc and indium plus additions have been developed specifically for use in sea-water and sea-mud. They are characterised by their light weight, smooth corrosion pattern, high electrical capacity and stability. These features allow substantial savings to be made both in the cost of materials and in the installation of the anodes.
